The directions below are to help you find Casa Mia itself from Valley Road, the main road into Mevagissey.

 

 

As you come down Valley Road which is the main road leading down to Mevagissey, you will see a Mevagissey Car & Coach Park sign on your left.  A bit further on you will come across ‘’10 ton weight restricted’ signs.

You are going to be turning right 30 yards beyond these signs

 

You need to turn right twenty yards beyond the ‘weight restricted’ signs where you see a road sign for Trevarth Estate. Once you have turned into Trevarth Estate, immediately take the left hand fork. Follow the road up the hill until you notice a sharp left hand turn. Take that turn ! It isn’t signposted so look out for it as you drive slowly up the hill.

 

Turn right into Trevarth Estate and immediately take the left fork

Once you have turned left, Casa Mia parking is near the top of this road

 

As you come up the road you will pass Joncel and the Casa Mia car park is on the left (where the vehicle is parked on this photo)

There is a sign showing clearly where Casa Mia parking is. There are six spaces so you should be able to easily park your car

 

Directions to your Apartment

Once you have parked the car, you will need to carry your luggage down to your apartment.  The directions depend on the apartment you are staying at

SAFETY NOTE : Please be very careful at this stage as all steps leading to Casa Mia apartments are steep and tricky

 

Apartment 1

Firstly, go down the steps to the left of the car parking area. There is signage as shown and a handrail. In 2006 we are adding lights down the steps but it is advisable to have a torch with you if you are arriving after dark.

Apartment 3 (privately owned) is immediately in front of you at the bottom of the steps. 

You pass the decking area and . . . . .

Apartment 1 is through the gate to the right of Apartment 3, just before the garage.

The entrance . . . .

 

Apartment 2 can be reached by one of two ways, either from the top car park or up through the garden.

From the car park, Apartment 2 is reached by taking the public pathway to the right of the car parking area as signposted in the photo below This leads down the hillside and after a short while, you will notice some steps to the left with a gate at the top of the steps. Go up those steps on to the decked area and then the front door to Apartment 2 can be seen.

Reaching Apartment 2 from the Main Road

 

Alternatively, you could come up the front garden BEFORE parking your car at the top car park.  Casa Mia does not own the access road to the adjoining property and so it is important that you do not park on or in any way block that access road.

 

For unloading, it is best to just stop on the main road for a few minutes
